Once you become a (Junior) Open Water Diver your can expand your interests by taking as many Specialty classes as you like.

Course Prerequisites:
- Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.
- The age requirements depends on a specialty.
Training Materials:
- PADI Adventures in Diving Manual or Multimedia
Before Class Homework:
- Read chapters in Adventures in Diving Manual which are dedicated to your chosen specialty.
- Finish all knowledge reviews for your chosen specialty.
