Depths range from 20 to 60 feet. Bottom is variable with sand, eel
grass & rock. Access is via beach or boat. The area is rated
as Novice.

Monterey. At Cannery Row & Hoffman Ave. Depths range from 25
to 35 feet. Bottom is variable with eel grass, rock & sand.

Street in Pacific Grove. Depths range from 20 to 40 feet. Bottom
is rock & sand. Access is via the beach. The area is rated as
Intermediate.

Monastery Beach, located about 4 miles south
of the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 68, is one of the
best-known dive sites in Monastery Peninsula. You can enter the
water at the kelp beds at either end of the beach.
